Its our Wedding Anniversary!

The secret to having a good marriage is to understand that marriage must be total, it must be permanent and it must be equal.
- Frank Pittman

Hello everyone, Today marks my fifth Wedding Anniversary with my husband. We have come a long way and i am grateful to God for everything! Here are some of our pictures taken together. Have fun looking through them. I believe he has a surprise for me, so i am patiently waiting on him to get home from work.

We took this picture last year october on my birthday house party. My husband looks really tired, because he had to set up the party while i was in school. I love him so much and i could say yes again and again. I am proud to say he his one of the best male chef i ever met lol.

This picture was taken at a friends wedding sometimes last year. I have on my cover buttoned ankara necklace made in Nigeria, and was given to me by a very good friend of mine.

This was at a friends baby shower. I was so tired after all that cooking. My husband hardly take pictures unlike me a picture addict.

Burgundy/Yellow

“I like to reinvent myself — it’s part of my job.”
― Karl Lagerfeld

Happy Memorial Day everyone! The past weekend has been so much, from baby shower to birthday party. I really enjoyed my little break. Looking forward to my five years wedding anniversary! its right around the corner yeaaaa......

I wore this attire to church "05/24/13" and it was not planned at all. I decided  that morning to try the burgundy skirt and yellow blazer together. Although, I have been keeping the burgundy skirt to match up with a lime green blazer.

It was windy/ sunny and i had to tie my afro down.

I am so much in love with this yellow blazer which i purchased from "Gojane".

The wind will not stop blowing my hair lol. I love this my gold/black necklace from "Forever21" and so i use it more often.
I love this picture in black and white.

I am so in love with the cut and shape of the back of this yellow blazer. One can zip it open for another style.
Loving my Combination High Heeled Sandals fro "Zara" and my black "Aldo" bag. They both match up with any outfit.

Polka Dot

Happy sunday everyone. Today was black and white sunday in church, so i decided to put this outfit together. I was not feeling too well but i insisted on going to church and taking some pictures for my blog regardless lol. I love dressing up and taking pics. It gives me life!

I purchased this purse from the thrift store with a friend few months back. I actually planned on using a suspender for this outfit, but i changed my mind to wear this polka dot blazer due to the cool weather.
I tried to put a lil smile regardless of the way i felt. This beautiful "Russell Kemp"polka blazer was given to me by my elder sister. I am recently in love with bow tie,s and i have got them in different colors and patterns.
This silk black pant is really old. I really cannot recall where i purchased it from.
I love this Zara combination high heeled sandals. They are cute, affordable and comfortable. I look forward to purchasing the blue/gold sandal soon.

I love this red stone ring and off course the studs on this white shirt from Forever21.

My Current Obsession!

Hello everyone! Today marks graduation days for some wonderful people who are close to me. I am so happy for them and i have been entertained with so much graduation pictures all over the internet.

Meanwhile, I decided to feature on my blog some of my current obsessions from Zara. Here are some shoes and bags i am madly in love with.

Zara mini shopper bag. I am in love with the green color, although i am not really a fan of the color green. They also carry this in a orange color as well.

This is the Zara leather shopper bag. I think the color looks sharp and cute.

This is the Zara quilted shopper chain bag. I love it.

Zara high heeled vamp shoe. I love the shape of this shoes and the heels look comfortable. Blue is not my favorite color, but i sure can rock it with a bright colored outfit.

Combination high heeled sandals. I have it in red and black and i want it in blue too.

Zara mid heel pointed shoe. I love the color and heels looks comfortable.

Zara high heeled pointed shoes. I love it because it imitates the new Gucci sandals sold for $695 dollars. I would rather purchase it from Zara at a cheaper price.

Zara laminated high heeled sandals. I always wanted a plain silver shoe, i guess am getting on now.

I love this Zara studded shopper bag. My current love are for large bags to fit in all my school materials.

Patterns and Floral

Happy mothers day to all the wonderful and amazing mothers all over the world!
I made up my mind to wear a floral skirt since mothers day as to do with giving out flowers.

Funny enough my elder sister gave me this burgundy pattern suit jacket. It comes with a midway skirt and was a size 4 about 5 years ago when i received it. I almost gave it out, because i was a size one back then, but i am so glad i can now fit into it perfectly.
I purchased this floral skirt from H and M sometimes last year and i swear its too tight on me. I am actually going to give it out or better still loose some weight lol. I love it, and that is a good reason why i forced myself into it today!

My cream shoes with the ribbon on it was purchased from "Bare Feet" sometimes last two years. It is a little tight because i purchased a smaller size, just because i wanted it. I love the lace look and it matches up with  any colored outfit!
My light pink lipstick is from "Mac" called candyyumyum

Lady in Red!

“Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.”
― Gwyneth Paltrow
It was a little breezy on this sunny sunday, so i decided to take some pictures after church  (5/5/13). Although, i really do not have a lot of red outfits in my closet, but red is one of my best color. The wind kept blowing my hair lol.

I purchased this blue blazer few years back from H and M. I am not a fan of the color blue, but i wanted to have every color of blazer that i could purchase in my closet. I love it either way lol.

This red dress was purchased for my birthday dinner about two years ago from " The limited". Funny enough the dress is a size 2, and i was shocked i could fit in it. I am a size 4/6 but i guess it depends on the cut of the outfit or designer.

I love this afro hair and the color.

I purchased this gold and pearl necklace from "Forever21" last year november.

Only if i could command the wind to stop blowing my hair lol
This is a back view of the blazer on the red dress.
I really love this handmade lace bag from " allthingsafrican", please follow her on instagram. Also, i can't stop rocking my combination high heeled sandals from "Zara". They are so comfortable and now i am about to purchase it in blue/gold.

Its all about leopard!

Dont be afraid to stand for what you believe in, even if that means standing alone.. - Kike

I wore this outfit to school for my final day of community health class. I did not plan the colors but they all just worked together on that day. The flat shoe was from bakers. My friend purchased it for me when there was some clearing out. I do love high heeled shoes despite the fact that i really cannot work perfectly in them lol. I am more comfortable in my flats to school.
When i got back from school, i decided to try my leopard pumps with this outfit. I purchased this peach blazer online from "Forever21" early this year. I just wanted to have all the bright color blazer in my closet. The blazer is long sleeved but i rolled it up to give it a little style.
This inner silk green top was purchased from "Bare feet". I pop into their store every now and then and i did be amazed they have some nice shoes and outfits. I am an online shopper because i hate walking around the mall. I did not take a pic of the green top by itself because i will rock them in the summer again. The back of the top is opened like a V back.
Lol disregard my hair on the side pics. This lovely leopard purse was purchased from a local store in "Sinai hospital" were i attended some of my nursing school clinical. I fell in love, immediately i saw it because i have not seen it anywhere around.

This is a closer look of the leopard purse. My Michael Kors wrist watch and some african bracelets i purchased from my friend. I had this gold dot clear nail polish on my nails, but it does not look too clear in this picture sorry. Nursing school will not give me an opportunity to fix my nails, but this summer i sure will be getting them done with beautiful bright colors.

The peach blazer has got three gold buttons on each side.
I purchased this burnt orange pants from some random store sometimes last year. I love the color and the fitness.

I love bright colors! they give me life.
I love this leopard pumps even though they are not as comfortable like i imagined. Beauty is pain lol. I purchased it from "Bare feet" early this year.
This is the back view of my outfit. Peach, green and burnt orange all in one mixed with leopard.
